Kite and Friends

Kite and Friends is a kitesurf, foil and wing foil school on the Argentine Atlantic coast. It teaches in Pinamar, Cariló and Costa Esmeralda, on the sea, on a river and on a calm lagoon that suits first lessons.

Lessons are adapted to each student's level, using a method the school describes as safe and fun. They are given one-to-one (one kite, one student, one instructor) or in pairs (one kite, two students). Three levels are offered: beginner, intermediate with improvement and supervision, and advanced with personal coaching. All necessary equipment is supplied, and intercom helmets help the instructor guide students from a distance; the school says a course takes 8 to 12 hours to reach independence.

The website also presents kite foiling (hydrofoil), which lets you ride in very light wind, and wing foil. The school runs downwinds along the Atlantic coast with a 4x4 support vehicle, plus trips to Cuesta del Viento (San Juan), Tarifa and north-east Brazil.
