Windkite Pinamar

Windkite Pinamar is a kitesurfing school in Pinamar, on the beach next to Balneario Botavara on the Atlantic coast of Buenos Aires province. Started by a group of friends passionate about kite, it also teaches surf, paddle, windsurf, foil and wing foil.

In kitesurfing, the introductory lesson covers rigging the kite, wind theory, safety and kite control. The full course runs over three days: maximum kite control on land on day one, water exercises without a board (body drag, steady pull, board recovery) on day two, then waterstart and first runs left and right on day three. Private lessons adapt to the student's level, and equipment can be rented by the hour, with group rates.

When the sea is not suitable, the school takes students to Laguna Los Horcones (lessons, car transport, private access, support boat). It sells, services and repairs equipment (new and second-hand), specialising in kitesurf kite repair, and organises trips to South America, Europe and Morocco.

Daily 10 am to 8 pm according to the website (hours shown with no season given).
