Amara Watersports is a windsurfing club that has operated since 1978 on Na Jomtien Beach, near Pattaya. It is run by Amara, a former Thai Olympic representative (1980 Games), who reports more than forty years of coaching.
It teaches windsurfing, windfoiling and wing foiling, with lessons for beginners and advanced riders, as well as children. The club rents windsurf gear, Hobie Wave catamarans and paddleboards, and offers covered, secure storage with rigging, maintenance and rinsing areas.
The site has a clubhouse with showers and changing rooms, a relaxation area and a small coffee stand. It also organises beach cleanups and activities encouraging women to take up watersports.
