MF Kite

MF Kite is a kitesurf and wingfoil school and shop on the Giens peninsula in Hyères, teaching kite since 2000 and wingfoil since 2020. It is open all year, seven days a week, with a 2026 events calendar (Junior Camps, Girls Session, KOTAL). Lessons take place from a boat in the roughly 4 km Almanarre bay.

In kitesurfing: beginner, towed, improvement, freestyle, strapless, beach and safety coaching. In wingfoil: beginner, towed, coaching, improvement and freestyle. Also available are kitefoil, pumping foil, SUP foil, parawing and e-foil, supervised sailing, downwind to Porquerolles, annual subscriptions and courses by the week, weekend or with accommodation. Lessons last 3.5 hours, in groups of up to 4 students, from age 8 and 30 kg, with one radio per student; in summer they run late in the day (5pm-8:30pm).

The team includes about 20 qualified instructors in high season; the head, Max, holds a BPJEPS since 2009 and a DEJEPS since 2021. The school rents kitesurf, wingfoil, paddle and e-foil equipment, and its shop sells new and used gear (Cabrinha, F-One, Takuma, Harlem for kites) with equipment tests.
