School Presentation

Kitecenter at Banana Bay is a kitesurfing school in the middle of Bulabog Beach, Boracay. It teaches beginners and advanced riders, with multilingual IKO-certified instructors who tailor each lesson plan to the student's level and holiday plans.

The two-kilometre Bulabog lagoon has warm, flat, shallow water where you can usually stand almost anywhere. The amihan onshore wind blows from November to the end of April, typically at 15 to 25 knots and sometimes above 30.

The centre rents recent Cabrinha gear and offers storage, a compressor, fresh water for rinsing equipment and kite caddies to help with launching and landing. Small repairs are done on site; larger ones go to specialists on the island. Cabrinha gear can also be pre-ordered, and second-hand equipment is available on enquiry.

Prices shown in Philippine pesos (year not stated): discovery course 6,000 PHP (1.5 h private, 2 h group); IKO level 1 and 2 beginner course 24,000 PHP (6 h private, 8 h group); three-day Zero to Hero 36,000 PHP (9 h private, 12 h group); 4 h private advanced course 16,000 PHP with gear or 11,200 PHP with your own gear.
