Freestyle Academy is an IKO-affiliated kitesurfing school and IWO-affiliated wing foil school on Bulabog Beach in Boracay. Its IKO-certified instructors teach adults and children, from beginner to advanced level.
Kitesurfing lessons follow four steps: kite flying, kite skills, board starts, then independent riding. Levels 1 to 3 can be booked separately or as a 9-hour private package (12 hours in a group), with the IKO licence included. The school also gives wing foil lessons and rents gear.
The best time to learn in Boracay generally runs from November to April, during the Amihan north-east monsoon.
