Surfyy Beach (Yangyang)

Surfyy Beach is a private surfing-only beach on the Yangyang coast in Gangwon, South Korea. It stretches over one kilometre, with a swimming zone, relaxation areas and a beach bar, the Sunset Bar, serving drinks, pizza and burgers and hosting beach parties in the evening.

The beach's surf school advertises a large team of instructors and more than a thousand boards. It offers introductory lessons (a 1.5-hour experience lesson, a three-hour foam-board package, free surfing), lessons for surfers with some experience, plus longboard, stand-up paddle, snorkelling and sunset yoga classes.
