Yangyang Surfing School

Yangyang Surfing School is a surf school in Yangyang on South Korea's east coast, in Gangwon Province. It was founded by the Surf City cooperative and is run by Lee Seung-dae, an ISA instructor and judge, president of the Gangwon surfing association and former head of the Yangyang marine leisure centre.

Courses cover introduction and beginner level, programmes for young people and people over 60, autumn and winter level-up courses, plus surf rescue and instructor certification training. All instructors hold the Yangyang County surf instructor certification and are trained in rescue.

The school has a theory classroom, a cafe, guesthouse accommodation and access to the private Naksan beach. The website is in Korean.
