Madloop is a windsurfing centre on the shore of Lake Pupuke on Auckland's North Shore, a short drive from Takapuna. The school is run by RYA-trained instructor Alan McIntosh and has taught windsurfers of all abilities since 1993. It describes itself as the only windsurfing school in the country teaching six days a week, in both summer and winter.
As well as windsurfing, Madloop teaches windfoiling and wing foiling, the latter since August 2019. Lessons and rentals include a wetsuit and all equipment. The centre also runs school holiday programmes for children, plus sailing lessons on Hobie Cats and Lasers.
