Relic Surf Shop & Surf School

Relic is the surf and skate shop in Ucluelet, on the west coast of Vancouver Island, open since 2009. It sees itself as a home away from home for surfers and skaters of the Tofino-Ucluelet area, with quality gear and local know-how.

The surf school teaches beginners as well as surfers looking to progress, with Open Ocean Certified instructors and two time slots every day, morning and afternoon, weather permitting. Booking is online or by phone.

The shop has one of the largest rental selections of boards and wetsuits on the coast, with no reservation required (soft tops, performance boards, kids' boards, bodyboards) and a roof rack included. For sale: surfboards (shortboards, midlengths, longboards, foamies, NSP models), fins, leashes, traction pads, board bags, repair supplies, wetsuits and Relic-branded clothing. The shop also runs the JX Surf Shop & Campground.
