School Presentation
Pure Kiteboarding is a kite school based in Ottawa, Ontario. It teaches kitesurfing, wing foiling and hydrofoil on the Ottawa River, in private lessons or small groups, in English and French.
Lessons usually take place at Britannia Beach, depending on the wind. When the wind blows from the south or east, the school also runs boat sessions from the Nepean Sailing Club for intermediate and advanced riders.
Instruction follows the IKO programme (up to level 3, with certification assessments available). Kite, board, harness, helmet and life jacket are included. The school is open year round: from January to March it teaches snowkiting on snow or ice.
Options include introductory lessons, multi-session packs, pay-as-you-go hours, coaching sessions, group lessons and birthday or team formats.
