Windsure Adventure Watersports

Windsure Adventure Watersports is a family-owned business at Jericho Beach in Vancouver. It began in 1977 as a one-person windsurfing school and is now run by the second generation.

The centre is on the west side of Jericho Park, inside the Jericho Sailing Centre: the office is on the ground floor of the main building and the beach hut sits right at the water. The bay is sheltered and gets just enough wind for beginners and intermediate riders, and with no motorboat launching the water stays calm and clear of traffic.

The offer covers lessons and rentals in windsurfing, wing surfing and wing foiling, stand-up paddleboarding and skimboarding, plus summer camps for ages 7 to 15. Rental deals include a midweek discount, a five-hours-for-four pass and season passes. It is a weather-dependent operation: programs run rain or shine and are only rescheduled for dangerous wind or weather.
