School Presentation

CCS Kite Club, run by Guy Bouchard, gives private kiteboarding and kite foiling lessons at Kite Point on Malpeque Bay, Prince Edward Island. The water is shallow, with sandbars and steady coastal winds, which makes it a good place to learn.

Lessons are one-to-one, with group sessions on request, in two-hour sessions: safety, wind theory, kite control, body dragging, relaunching the kite in the water, then first rides on the board. Kite foil lessons cover board setup, balance and progressing to sustained foiling. Lessons are scheduled according to the wind and equipment is included.

The club rents and demos CORE gear (kites, boards, foils, harnesses), sells equipment to order, and also rents paddle boards.

Refresher (1 hr): $125 + tax
First-ride lesson (2 hr): $250 + tax for one person, $425 + tax for two
3-session package (6 hr): $690 + tax; 5-session package (10 hr): $1,050 + tax
Rental: kite $100 half day, $175 full day; board or foil $40 to 60; harness $30 to 50; full package $160 to 240
