Surfshack

Surfshack is a surf shop and school founded in 2010 by Frédéric Dumoulin in Sept-Îles, in the Moisie area of the Côte-Nord. Right by the beach and close to several easily accessible spots, it describes itself as the first business to develop sea surfing in Québec.

It offers surf and paddle lessons, equipment rental, events, school group outings and guided explorations. It also runs the local surfing community and welcomes visitors passing through.

The shop sells wetsuits (men, women, children), surfboards and paddleboards, accessories and clothing. The website also publishes articles on weather, seasons, waves and the region's spots, including Matamec.
