School Presentation

Plein Vent les Îles is a kitesurf school based in Havre-Aubert, in the Magdalen Islands. It is run by two co-owners, Marc-Antoine Lavoie and Marie-Claude Poulette, IKO and FQK certified instructors and instructor trainers for the Québec kite federation. The team has six certified instructors.

Lessons take place in large, shallow lagoons. The kitesurf introduction lasts three hours, private, as a pair or in a group of three or four. The school also offers tailor-made lessons to continue your progression, advanced coaching (foil, jumps and tricks, strapless surf), clinics, wing foil and e-foil training, equipment rental and packages.

Since 2020 the team has written the programmes and trained new instructors every year for the Fédération québécoise de kite. The next instructor course is announced for June 2027 in the Islands.
