Born To Kite is a local, family-run school that opened in January 2026 on the Le Morne lagoon, in the south of Mauritius. Its instructor has taught kitesurfing for more than ten years. Depending on the weather, the team can also move to other spots in the south of the island.
The school offers kitesurf and wing foil lessons (from 2 h, beginner to advanced), 1.5-hour surf sessions, wave kiting, supervision for independent riders, equipment rental and downwind runs between Bel Ombre and Le Morne. VIP lessons go by boat to a sandbank away from the beginner spot.
A photographer regularly follows the sessions, on request when booking.

2026 prices shown by the school, in euros:
- Kitesurf and wing foil, private lesson: €150 for 2 h, €300 for 4 h, €435 for 6 h, €700 for 10 h
- Semi-private lesson (2 people per instructor): €80 per person for 2 h, €160 for 4 h, €235 for 6 h, €380 for 10 h
- Improvement and jumps, or wave kiting: €50 per hour; supervision: €30 per hour; rental: €20 per hour
- Downwind run: €75 per person; surf session (1.5 h): €60
10% off for groups of 4 or more.
