Windy Waters Bad Hoophuizen

Windy Waters is a watersports school on the Veluwemeer. Its main site is at Bad Hoophuizen (Hulshorst), between Harderwijk and Nunspeet, where hip-deep water and no current suit beginners up to the VDWS certificate; a second base is at Resort Veluwemeer in Nunspeet.

Instructors are VDWS trained and teach in small groups. In windsurfing you go from a taster session to a three-day beginner course (three hours a day, basic VDWS diploma included), then refresher courses; in wing you start with an introduction, then wingsurf on a longboard, before moving to wingfoil. The school also offers SUP, catamaran, rental of boards, wetsuits, SUPs, wings and catamarans, and activities for companies and children.
