School Presentation
West Coast Surf is a surf school on Busua beach in western Ghana, at the Alaska Beach Club. It was founded by William, who started with a single board; he has more than 15 years of surfing and more than 10 years of lifeguarding behind him and now works with new equipment and a team of instructors.
The school offers private, couples and group surf lessons adapted to each level, and rents boards for those who want to practise alone. For advanced surfers it runs trips to more challenging waves, the point breaks of the west coast.
It also offers activities out of the water: a hike to Butre, a canoe trip to Abokwa Island, and bonfire, game and outdoor movie nights. Open every day from 7 am to 6 pm.
