Ngor Island Surf Camp

Ngor Island Surf Camp has operated since 2004 on the small island of Ngor, off the western tip of the Cap-Vert peninsula and a few minutes by boat from central Dakar. It is officially licensed by the Senegalese Surfing Federation and specialises in surf guiding for intermediate and advanced surfers.

Every day the camp's guides take groups, split by level, to one of the 21 surrounding spots, by boat around the island or by 4x4 to Dakar's south coast depending on the swell; road trips to spots outside Dakar are also organised. Stays include half board and surf photography and drone video of the best sessions; surf lessons and board rental cost extra.

The camp has a surf house with a pool, library, gym, remote working space and panoramic roof terrace, as well as a small surf shop and board rental.
