WestWind Hvide Sande Nord

WestWind Hvide Sande Nord is the northern base of WestWind, a chain of surf shops and schools on Jutland's west coast (the company dates its history to 1980 on its website). It stands in Hvide Sande, between the North Sea and Ringkøbing Fjord, whose flat shallow water suits beginners.

The school teaches wing foiling, windsurfing, kitesurfing and paddle at all levels, combining practice, safety and theory; it also hosts families, groups and company outings. The shop stocks wing and foil, windsurf, kite and paddle gear, with advice on choosing equipment and reading the wind on the fjord or at sea. Rental covers wing, windsurf, kite, surf, paddle and kayak equipment, with a sauna and hot tub to hire. The Hvide Sande cable park next door offers wakeboard and water ski rental.
