Atlantic Surf School

Atlantic Surf School teaches surfing on Sidi Bouzid beach, El Jadida's seaside resort, a few kilometres south-west of the town. The spot is a sheltered beach break, valued for its manageable waves and sandy bottom: a place to learn rather than a place to perform.

The school is run by local instructors, described as certified by the ISA and by the Moroccan federation. Sessions are taught in very small groups, three people at most, which leaves room for real individual coaching; the best-selling format runs two hours, with a quarter of an hour of theory and safety briefing on the sand, then an hour and a half in the water. Board and wetsuit are provided, and lessons are open to a wide range of ages, from children to older adults.

There is no shopfront: the meeting point is the main car park of Sidi Bouzid's public beach, directly in front of the Surf Café, where the instructor waits beside a white board carrying the school's name.

No season is published. Lessons sold online start at 9:00 am; other time slots are booked by phone.
