Mazagan Beach & Golf Resort

Mazagan Beach & Golf Resort is a large seaside complex set on Haouzia beach, between El Jadida and Azemmour, along seven kilometres of Atlantic shoreline. Run by the Kerzner group, it brings together accommodation, restaurants, a spa and an 18-hole golf course designed by Gary Player.

Everything board-related starts at the Beach Club, the resort's own beach base: you pick up a rental surfboard there, or sign up for a beginners' lesson taught by the resort's own staff, which it describes as dedicated instructors. Stand up paddle outings are hired from the same place, as are the jet skis, launched from the Beach Club. These activities are chargeable and are not included in the room rate; they are booked on site or through the concierge.

The resort offers no kitesurfing and no windsurfing: its website says nothing of either, and the listings that credit it with them are not confirmed by the hotel. A local surf school, Surf School Haouzia, also teaches on the resort's beach according to traveller reviews; it has its own listing in this directory.

The resort publishes no season and no opening hours for its water sports base. Activities are booked through the concierge or directly at the Beach Club.
