Discovery Surf School

Discovery Surf School is a surf and paddleboard school based at Bigbury-on-Sea in South Devon, which also operates at Bantham. It has been running since 2002.

The school is accredited by Surfing England for surfing and registered with the AALA (Adventure Activities Licensing Authority) for SUP. Its instructors hold ASI or Surfing England qualifications, DBS certificates and SLSGB lifeguard training.

It offers surf and SUP lessons, private family lessons (discounted for groups of four or more), sessions for schools, sports teams and organisations, and surfing for people with special needs. The school hires out surfboards, bodyboards, wetsuits, paddleboards, XL SUPs and kayaks.
