Inchydoney Surf School

Inchydoney Surf School teaches surfing on Inchydoney Beach, about a 10-minute drive from Clonakilty in County Cork. It describes itself as Cork's longest-running surf school and says it has been teaching there for 26 years.

It offers small-group lessons, private lessons, surf camps for kids, teens and adults all summer, and hen and stag party sessions. Board, wetsuit and instruction are included in every lesson, from age 8.

Instructors are qualified lifeguards. The gently sloping beach allows surfing at all tides. Lessons run daily, weather and tide permitting.
