Red Strand Beach is a kitesurfing spot located in County Cork, on the southwest coast of Ireland. This small sheltered beach offers interesting conditions in south and southwest winds. The characteristic red sand gives the spot its name. Conditions are suitable for intermediate riders. The bay provides some protection from the Atlantic swell. Tides change the rideable area.
