Wild Diamond Watersports

Wild Diamond Watersports is a watersports centre based in Cornaig on the Isle of Tiree in the Inner Hebrides, known as one of Scotland's best spots for wind and surf. It offers windsurfing, kitesurfing and wing foiling, stand-up paddleboarding and surfing, plus kayak hire and a well-stocked shop.

Windsurfing is taught in two-hour blocks, with RYA courses available on request, from beginner to wave sailing. Beginners and intermediates sail on Loch Bhasapol, a shallow loch with a sandy bottom; advanced sailors can use the island's beaches depending on conditions. The hire fleet includes Simmer Style, Tabou, Quatro, Gaastra and Naish gear.

Kitesurfing and wing foiling courses run as full days (5 hours), mostly in Gott Bay, which is flat and shallow. The centre recommends May, June, September and early October for learning. For surfing, the hire fleet has Tiki soft boards and Torq hard boards, with O'Neill wetsuits. Lessons start from age 6 for windsurfing and age 10 for kitesurfing and wing foiling; booking is essential and every activity depends on the weather.
