Blackhouse Watersports

Blackhouse Watersports is a surf and kitesurf school based in a beach hut at Balevullin on the Isle of Tiree, at the southern end of the Inner Hebrides in Scotland. The island has white sand beaches facing every direction, good wind statistics and shallow bays for kitesurfing, and uncrowded surf on the west and south coasts.

The school welcomes beginners of all ages and intermediate and advanced surfers (with video analysis), and runs bespoke kitesurf lessons and packages led by Marti, who has over twenty years of teaching experience. Surf lessons run twice daily depending on the tides, with equipment included; board hire (soft tops, performance shortboards, mid-lengths and longboards) is also available.
