School Presentation
Kitesurfing.no is a kite school based at Bore Surf Senter, on Borestranda beach in Kleppe, on the Jæren coast near Stavanger. It has taught kitesurfing in summer on Jæren since 2001 and snowkiting in winter at Haukeliseter since 2007.
The offer includes a weekend beginner course, private or group lessons, wing foil courses (from age 13) at Sømmevågen and Solastranda, tow-surfing, winch sessions, downwind outings (from age 16) and kitesurf and wing foil equipment rental for students who have taken a course. The site is in Norwegian and English.
Several instructors hold an IKO qualification. The school applies a wind guarantee: a new course is offered if there is not enough wind on either day of the weekend. Demo gear includes Ozone and F-One; students get 15% off new equipment at Fluid.
