Saltburn Surf School has taught surfing since 1983 on the lower promenade at Saltburn-by-the-Sea in north-east England. It is accredited by Surfing England and the International Surfing Association.
It offers two-hour group lessons (20 to 30 minutes of dry-land instruction with a safety brief, then at least an hour in the sea), private coaching for intermediate and advanced surfers including competitive surfers, and multi-day courses. All equipment is provided. The shop hires equipment and sells new and second-hand surf gear.
