Surfing Croyde Bay

Surfing Croyde Bay is a surf school based in Croyde, North Devon, at Baggy Lodge on Moor Lane. Its programmes were designed by Damon Beveridge, a coach with more than twenty years of experience, including work with the British and English national surfing teams. The school stresses a low number of students per coach.

It offers 2.5-hour surf lessons, in groups or privately, for all levels with equipment included, three-hour coasteering sessions, and hire of surfboards, wetsuits, bodyboards, boots, gloves and hoods. The centre also has a sauna and ice bath (50-minute sessions) and heated changing rooms.

For groups, the school runs stag and hen parties, corporate days and school trips. It also trains surf instructors and beach lifeguards, and offers coaching for surfers who want to progress.
