funmüritz is a water sports centre in Waren on the Binnenmüritz, in the heart of the Mecklenburg Lake District. Run by Christoph Becker, it teaches windsurfing, catamaran and dinghy sailing and stand up paddling, and rents canoes and kayaks for exploring the lake.
The centre is a VDWS station: windsurfing, dinghy and catamaran courses lead to the association's basic licences, and the wetsuit is included in the course price. It also runs days for groups (school classes, clubs, birthdays).
A small surf shop sells water sports accessories (inflatable SUPs, paddles, neoprene clothing) as well as the centre's own clothing collection, and a lakeside terrace looks over Waren.
