Wassersport Fleesensee

Wassersport Fleesensee is a windsurfing, wingfoiling, catamaran, SUP and children's sailing (Optimist) school on the Fleesensee in the Mecklenburg Lake District. Run by Reinhard Lehmpfuhl, it is a member of the VDWS association. The lake is about 4.9 km long and 3.2 km wide, and the water stays chest-deep up to 300 m from the shore, which makes learning windsurfing, sailing and kiting easier.

In windsurfing, the school promises to teach you in three days, on very stable boards and light sails, with the wetsuit supplied and the VDWS basic licence included. Beginner courses run on weekdays during the summer holidays, for adults and children from age 10, with refresher courses. For wing, lessons start with a land session of about an hour, then sailing on a longboard before moving to a foil, in small groups or private lessons, daily on request.

The school also rents windsurf boards, wings and wingfoil boards, catamarans, SUPs and canoes, and organises team events.
