Surfcenter Leipzig

Surfcenter Leipzig is the water sports school and shop on the Cospudener See in Markkleeberg, on the edge of Leipzig. It celebrated its 25th season in 2025 and teaches windsurfing, wingsurfing and wingfoiling, stand up paddling and catamaran sailing from April to October, with the chance to take the VDWS basic licence in each discipline.

The centre rents equipment for every discipline, for beginners and experienced riders. Its shop on the Pier 1 site sells boards, SUPs, sails, wetsuits and accessories, and a test centre lets customers compare gear before buying. A board repair service (not for inflatables) is also available out of season.

Surfcenter Leipzig organises wingfoil events, including the Cossi Cup regatta on the Cospudener See.
