Surfers Paradise Laboe (Kiel)

Surfers Paradise Laboe is a VDWS-certified water sports centre right on the beach at Laboe, next to the museum submarine, on the Kiel Fjord. The company logo states it has been around since 1998. School, shop and test centre share one roof, with a standing-depth practice area.

The offer includes kitesurfing (courses and hydrofoil kite), windsurfing, wing foiling, stand up paddling (courses, tours, SUP yoga), e-foil, sailing and kayaking, with group, small-group or private lessons. The centre also rents equipment without lessons, runs a shop and test centre, and offers holiday courses for children from age 7 in windsurfing and sailing. It uses the VDWS Safety Tool. Free customer parking, a chill-out area, hot and cold drinks and ice cream on the beach; the site also hosts events.

Surfers Paradise has other centres, including on the Steinhuder Meer and at Kegnæs in Denmark. The Laboe centre is open from March to November.
