Surfing Mehdia

Surfing Mehdia, which also calls itself École de Kac Surf, is the surf school of the KAC Surf club of Mehdia, at Mehdia Plage, the beach resort of Kenitra. It occupies a seafront villa about a hundred metres from the beach break. Lessons are open from the age of six and are organised in groups matched by age, level and experience, with foam boards chosen to suit the pupil's height and the conditions of the day. The school claims a greener approach to its equipment: wax, recycled textiles and so-called eco-friendly wetsuits.

Six formats are advertised: Initiation, Perfection, Surf Kid's, Sunset Session, Surf Trip and Competition, alongside stand-up paddle lessons. The named coaches are Brahim Moutaoukil and Madouar Med Reda. The school holds the Moroccan Qualité de Tourisme label.

It is more than a school: KAC Surf of Mehdia is also a competition-running club. On 8 and 9 November 2025, under the aegis of the Royal Moroccan Surfing Federation, it held the second Euro-Africa leg of the Morocco Bodysurfing World Tour 2025, an IBSA qualifying series for the 2026 world final, run by club president Abderrahman Madouar. Its record as an organiser also includes the Euro Bodysurf, the Morocco Cup zone A and the Course des Sables. No kitesurfing or wing foiling takes place here: Mehdia is a wave beach.

Open seven days a week from April to November, 10 am to 6 pm, according to the school's website. No opening is announced from December to March.
