Windsport Usedom

Windsport Usedom is a windsurf, sailing and stand up paddle school in Ückeritz on Usedom island. The spot lies on the Achterwasser lagoon that separates the island from the mainland: shallow water, calmer than the Baltic, with no current or shoals and a firm, sandy bottom.

Windsurf and sailing lessons are given by VDWS-licensed instructors; the school also offers paddle and canoe lessons and activities for children and teenagers. The website cites favourable conditions in south to north-west winds, for windsurfing and kiting alike. On site: car park, changing rooms with lockers, showers and the Café Knatter.
