Kiteguide SPO

Kiteguide SPO is a mobile kitesurfing school based in Sankt Peter-Ording on the North Sea coast, run by Christian Lautenbach. There is no fixed course start: each day the team picks the beach and the time that suit the wind, the tide and the student's level.

From day one every student gets their own kite and board and stays in radio contact with the instructor (BB Talkin system). The school offers beginner and advanced lessons, a kids' course and a licence course. It has been a VDWS school since the 2025 season, so students can earn the kitesurfing licence or upgrade their level.

Kiteguide SPO has also taught wingfoiling since 2021. Lessons take place at the Speicherkoog near Meldorf, south of Büsum, a calm basin with a large standing area behind the dyke, and can also be held in Sankt Peter-Ording when conditions allow. The school meets its students directly at the spot, and its website includes a guide to the local kitesurf spots (Ording, Böhl, Südstrand).
