Thijs Surfschool

Thijs Surfschool is on the shore of the Veerse Meer in Kamperland and describes itself as the oldest windsurf school in the Netherlands. It welcomes beginners as well as windsurfers who want to progress.

The programme includes basic lessons (levels 1 and 2), supervised practice sessions, private lessons, family courses and an introduction to windfoiling. Instructors focus on individual attention. The school rents windsurf and paddle equipment and runs a surf shop where visitors can buy or complete their gear. It is about a hundred metres from a campsite.
