Flyin' Surf Essaouira

Flyin' Surf is a watersports school at 10 rue Charif el Idrissi, a few steps from Essaouira beach. Run by the Moroccan company FLYIN'SURF SARL, it gathers a teaching base, a shop, changing rooms, showers and lockers under one roof. It teaches surfing, kitesurfing, wingfoiling and e-foiling, and also rents stand-up paddleboards and kayaks.

Lessons are run by IKO-trained instructors; the team advertises seven instructors, around fifty surfboards and forty-five kitesurf sets. Helmet and impact vest come with kite lessons, along with the wetsuit and the full kit. It is the only centre in Essaouira bay that publishes an e-foil offer: supervised lessons and rental, with two board models and a matching impact vest.

Beyond hourly sessions, Flyin' Surf sells three-day coaching packages in surfing, kitesurfing or wingfoiling, including accommodation at Riad ELMEDINA, airport transfers, lunch at the spot, 4x4 transport to the region's spots and a photo debriefing session. Downwinders and surf trips to the quieter breaks along the coast are arranged according to conditions.

Open every day from 9am to 7pm, and on Friday from 9am to 1.30pm then 2.30pm to 7pm (hours from the school's Google listing).

No closing season is published. The school advertises more than 300 days of wind and waves a year in Essaouira.
