Icarus Surfclub – Wingschool.be (Club North)

Club North by Icarus, from the Icarus Surfclub, is a board sports club on the Zeebrugge seafront. It houses Wingschool.be, a wingfoil school, and also offers a kitesurf school, foil lessons, rental and a shop.

The Wingschool.be instructors report 15 years of teaching and a part in the foundation of the wingfoil course now delivered by the Flemish watersports federation. Lessons use North equipment, mostly on the lake at the Polderwind estate in Zuienkerke, the second site, and also at Zeebrugge. The school also uses Foil Drive, an electric motor foil, to learn balance without depending on wind.

Open April to September, Wednesday and weekends, 12 pm to 6 pm.
