School Presentation
Go Nuts Hawaii is a family-run surf school on Oʻahu's North Shore, Hawaii, steps from V-Land and Sunset Beach. It was founded in 1992 by Cesar Oliveira, first as a shop in Kahuku; his son Kona Oliveira, a professional surfer raised on the North Shore, is taking over the business.
The school runs two-hour surf lessons — private, semi-private (two students) or small group (three to four students per instructor) — at beaches such as Laniakea, Chun's Reef or Puaʻena Point, depending on ocean and wind conditions. Stand-up paddle lessons are also offered.
Gear rentals include shortboards, longboards, SUP boards, bodyboards and snorkel sets, by the day or week. Go Nuts also runs a six-night surf camp with daily lessons, accommodation, meals and airport transfers from Honolulu, in a house across from V-Land; the team speaks English, Portuguese and Spanish.
