Pro Surf School Hawaii by Kai Sallas

Pro Surf School Hawaii is a family-run surf and paddleboard school based at the Kaimana Beach Hotel in Waikiki (Honolulu). It is led by Kai Sallas, the 2023 world longboard champion.

Surf lessons suit beginners and experienced surfers alike: beginner lessons, intermediate and advanced coaching, and sessions with Kai Sallas himself. The school highlights certified instructors and an approach built around safety, technique and fun. Kaimana Beach, calm and clear, is well suited to learning stand up paddle, and the nearby waves at Old Man's and Tongg's suit intermediate surfers.

The school rents paddleboards, soft-tops and premium longboards, no reservation needed. It says it is the only shop on Oahu renting boards from Kai Sallas Longboard Co.
