Jax Surf & Paddle

Jax Surf & Paddle is a surf and stand-up paddleboard school with a surf camp, beach rentals and a shop, based in Neptune Beach, just north of Jacksonville Beach, Florida. Lessons and classes are held in and around Neptune Beach, with beach access for surfing and the Intracoastal Waterway for paddling. Instructors hold certifications for each paddle sport taught and are CPR and First Aid certified.

The program includes private and group surf and SUP lessons, public classes on Saturdays (beginner and intermediate), monthly SUP eco tours, parties and corporate events, and a kids' surf camp running since 2010 (ten weeks in 2026, June 1 to August 7, 9 am to 1 pm, at the 7th Street and Ocean Avenue beach access in Atlantic Beach).

The shop sells apparel, sandals, sunglasses and boards (including Starboard and boards by local shapers) and has a bar and coffee counter. The school rents surfboards, paddleboards, bodyboards, skimboards, bikes, chairs and umbrellas in Jacksonville Beach, Atlantic Beach and Neptune Beach.
