Woodstock Surf Camp

Woodstock Surf Camp is a family-run surf camp in Mirleft, founded and run by two brothers born and raised there: Ayoub, head coach, and Zakaria, manager and co-founder. It combines surf teaching, accommodation and trips around the village, with days shaped by the day's conditions rather than a fixed timetable.

Accommodation is spread over several houses. Woodstock Surf House sits on the beachfront at Aftas Beach, with sea views and room for four guests: one private sea-view room with its own bathroom and one shared twin room. Happy House is a five-minute walk from the beach, a third house with sea views is used for groups of five or six, and Woodstock Retreat House, also about five minutes from the beach, takes up to twelve guests.

The school teaches all levels, with a maximum of five students per instructor, equipment and transport to the spot included; guiding, capped at four surfers, takes independent surfers to the breaks around Mirleft — the camp counts around eleven of them, from beach breaks to reefs and point breaks. Two one-week retreats, twelve guests maximum, are published for autumn 2026: 17 to 24 October and 31 October to 7 November, with coaching by level, two video analysis sessions, surfskate, sandboarding, a visit to Legzira, Sidi Ifni and Tiznit, a guided tour of Mirleft, a Moroccan cooking class and home-cooked meals.
