Happy Waves Surf School gives surf lessons and camps at St. Augustine Beach and in the Vilano Beach area, Florida. Lessons and camps take place at Pope Road Park on St. Augustine Beach. The school is run by Jen and Oli, both certified by the International Surfing Association (ISA) and trained in advanced first aid, CPR and water safety.
Private and small-group lessons for all ages last 1.5 hours and depend on availability and weather. In summer, a surf camp for ages 8 to 16 runs Monday to Thursday, 9 am to noon, with a soft-top board, snacks, beach games, Australian surf lifesaving activities and no more than four students per instructor.
