School Presentation
Goofy Foot Surf School is a surf school in West Maui, Hawaii, which presents itself as the island's longest-running, with over 30 years of teaching around Lahaina. All instructors are trained in first aid and CPR.
Lessons are held at the Guardrails surf spot, in a gravel parking lot about 400 feet south of Puamana Beach Park, at mile marker 19 on Highway 30. Groups meet the team near a lone tree, next to a black pickup truck. There is no cell phone service there, so the location should be confirmed before the lesson.
The school offers 2-hour beginner group lessons, Monday to Saturday at 8:00 am and 10:30 am, from age 9, as well as private lessons and a cultural canoe tour. It guarantees that students stand and ride at least one wave, or the next lesson is free.
