Wind-NC is a windsurf and wing foil school and shop in Nags Head on the Outer Banks (North Carolina). Windsurf lessons run daily on the warm, shallow waters of Albemarle Sound for students aged 8 to 80: a 2-hour group lesson (maximum 4 students) and a 2-hour private lesson to progress (planing, footstraps and harness, beach start, water start, jibing).
For wing foil, the school offers 3-hour private or semi-private lessons, a one-day camp and a three-day camp, with a coach following the student on a jet ski. Lessons are tailored to conditions among several riding locations across the Outer Banks.
Wind-NC rents windsurf and wing foil gear, can deliver gear from Duck to Hatteras, and sells Goya and KT Foil equipment (order by phone or text while the online store is paused for maintenance).
