UpWind Kiteboarding Key West

UpWind Kiteboarding is a mobile kiteboarding school in Key West: lessons and trips for experienced kiters leave from a custom-built boat to shallow, flat, open water in the Keys.

It offers daily lessons for beginners, intermediates and advanced riders, plus daily trips for experienced kiteboarders and kitefoilers. The website states that instructors are trained through a kiteboarder certification program, hold a U.S. Coast Guard captain's license and emergency first responder certification.

The site announces a season running through the end of April, with the school closed for the summer and reopening in mid November.
