School Presentation
Jeffreys Bay Surf School, established in 2000, presents itself as the oldest surf school in Jeffreys Bay. It was founded by Etienne Venter, a surf coach who was a world champion coach with Team South Africa. The school is licensed by the Kouga Local Municipality and accredited by Surfing South Africa.
It offers surf lessons for all levels and ages, board rentals (soft tops, longboards, mini-mals, performance shortboards) and wetsuits in a full range of sizes, guided surf trips of a half or full day to the breaks around the town, surf camps with accommodation, and lessons for organised tour groups.
An in-house surf shop sells surf gear and clothing. The school is on Diaz Road near the Jeffreys Bay beachfront.
