Kitekahunas Advanced Kitesurfing School

Kitekahunas is a kitesurfing school at Sunset Beach, at the start of Blouberg Beach in Cape Town, which says it has been teaching since 2008. It is directed by Dr Wolfram Reiners, a former German speed kitesurfing champion.

The beginner curriculum is split into four modules (A to D, from getting on the board to riding upwind), with packages for seniors, for father and son or daughter, and a course for people who have already taken a lesson without success. The school also offers a wave kitesurfing course and camp for advanced riders, and a video course.

The Kite Villa, the school's guesthouse at Sunset Beach about 70 m from the ocean, has a pool, terrace, shared kitchen and wifi; kite storage is free for the school's students.
